Meet your counselor and clinical director

Nancy Lee Dunn, LCSW, PLLC
Mental Health Therapy, Couples Counseling, Coaching

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and specializing in betrayal trauma, infidelity trauma, couples with infidelity, sex and porn addiction and ADHD. I work with adults, adolescents, families, and couples and use evidence-based modalities including CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, EMDR, EFT and The Gottman Method to help clients create lasting change. I am a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist candidate.

My clinical experience includes work in private practice and inpatient treatment settings, including St. Peter's Hospital Detox, where I supported individuals experiencing acute withdrawal, addiction, and co-occurring mental health challenges. In private practice, I have worked extensively with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating trauma, victims of narcissistic abuse, sex addiction, porn addiction, betrayal trauma, infidelity trauma, relationship issues, and other complex emotional concerns. I also integrate somatic therapy, hypnotherapy, and trauma-informed approaches to meet each client where they are.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 27 years as a high school teacher, an experience that profoundly shaped the way I understand people, relationships, conflict, development, and resilience. My years in education gave me a deep appreciation for the emotional lives of adolescents, the complexities individuals and families face, and the importance of patience, presence, and compassionate guidance. This work ultimately inspired me to pursue clinical social work and support individuals and families on a deeper level.

I am passionate about helping clients reconnect with their strengths, heal from past wounds, and move forward with clarity and confidence. If you or a loved one is struggling with mental health challenges, addiction, trauma, or if you are part of a couple seeking healthier communication and a stronger relationship, I welcome you to reach out. I would be honored to support you on your path toward growth and healing..
